Friday 5 Sept launch line up: Charles Jenkins, Alexandra Pye and Nathan Lomas

We are pleased to announce that our launch at the Red Hill Community Pavilion on Friday 5 September will feature:

Charles Jenkins

Charles is a Melbourne songwriter/musician and performer with more than 25 years experience in the Australian Music Industry.

Charles has recorded and released 14 albums, both locally and internationally including his solo albums Bungalow (2004) and The City Gates (2005) and with his band The Zhivagos, Blue Atlas (2008),  Walk This Ocean (2010) and Love Your Crooked Neighbour With Your Crooked Heart (2012).

His latest  album with The Zhivagos ‘Too Much Water In The Boat’ was released February 17th, this year.

A published songwriter for more than 20 years, Charles signed to Mushroom Publishing in 2004, and his songs have been placed in local and international television and film and recorded by artists of the calibre of Rebecca Barnard and Kerri Simpson.

He has been nominated for two ARIAS with the band Icecream Hands, and performed on the SBS music show RocKwiz. Of late he has co-written songs with Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything), Angie Hart (Frente) and Suzannah Espie.

Charles will be performing solo and acoustic at MOTH.

Alexandra Pye

Young and aspiring solo act Alexandra Pye is a Melbourne singer-songwriter and musician who brings folk, blues and bit of rock tunes together in a unique and eclectic style.

Nathan Lomas

Nathan Lomas is a local singer-songwriter. He played his first gig in 2009 at the Balnarring Muso Night, and has since performed at several Melbourne venues including Revolver Upstairs in Prahran and the Prince of Wales Band-Room in St Kilda.
